Changes, modifications or repairs not authorized by the manufacturer shall void your
rights under the warranty.
Disconnect power before making any electrical connections.
The siren is designed for outdoor installation. It must be installed on the wall, high above the floor, at
a hard to access location, so as to minimize the risk of tampering. Before installing the siren, check
whether the space above the siren will be sufficient to remove and replace the cover.
1. Open the siren enclosure.
2. If the siren has an inner metal cover, remove it.
3. Place the enclosure base on the wall and mark the location of mounting holes (if the design of the
siren requires it, remove the electronics module first). Include the mounting hole for tamper
protection.
4. Run the wires through the opening in the enclosure base.
5. Use wall plugs (anchors) and screws to secure the enclosure base to the wall. Remember to
screw the tamper protection to the wall. The type of wall plugs must be suitable for the mounting
surface.
6. If you removed the electronics module earlier, reinstall it in the enclosure base.
7. Connect the wires to the terminals.
8. Configure the siren settings (see full siren manual).
9. If the siren is to operate with a backup power source, install and connect the battery (the red wire
to the positive terminal, the black wire to the negative terminal).
Do not use a battery other than that recommended in the full manual.
The used batteries must not be discarded, but should be disposed of in accordance
with the existing rules for environment protection.
10. If the siren has an inner metal cover, mount it.
11. Close the siren enclosure.
12. Power on the control panel.
13. Check if signaling is triggered correctly (you can use the output test function, which is available in
some control panels, or you can trigger an alarm for testing purposes).
