RDS is a broadcasting service which allows
stations to send additional information along
with the regular radio program signal. RDS
can be received only in FM band.
Every time the RDS button is pressed, the
mode is changed as follows: [Al
PS (Program Service Name)
When you select PS, "PS" is displayed, and
in 4 seconds, the program service name
will be displayed. If there is no PS data in
the station, the frequency
will be
displayed.
CT (Clock Time)
When you select CT with the RDS MODE
button, "CT" will blink for about 4 seconds.
After 4 seconds, the clock time will be
displayed.
If there is no CT data among received
broadcastings, "NO CT" will be displayed.
PTY (Program Type)
When you select PTY, the type of received
PTY will be displayed.
TA (Traffic Announcement )(TP Search)
When you select TA by use of the RDS
button, "TA" will blink for about 4 seconds.
After 4 seconds, TP received broadcasting
will be searched with FM frequency
increasing in 50 kHz steps.
If TP received broadcasting is searched,
the increase in frequency will stop and it
is asked whether TA will be received or
not.
If TP and TA turn off while you are
receiving TA, the tuner will search TA
broadcasting again with FM frequency
increasing in 50 kHz steps.
PTY search
A station can be searched
by this
function.
El Press the RDS MODE button for more than
1.5 seconds.
Then "SEARCH" will be shown
in the
display.
A Select the desired PTY mode.
(The program will blink.)
E] Press the MEMORY button.
Ed Press the TUNING button. (PTY search
will start.)
When
the PTY mode that you have
' selected is searched, PTY search will stop
and the PTY mode will be displayed.
If the same program type is not found
during PTY Search, it will stop at the
beginning frequency.
If you want to cancel PTY search while
searching, press the RDS MODE button.
PTY search will stop and search mode will
be released automatically.

Le RDS est un service radio qui permet aux
Stations émettrices de diffuser des informations
complémentaires parallélement a |'émission
radio elle-méme. Le service RDS ne peut étre
capté que sur la bande FM.
Chaque fois que I'on appuie sur la touche RDS,
le mode change, selon l'ordre suivant: [Al
PS (Nom du service de programmes)
Sélectionnez l'option PS, la mention PS
s'affiche, puis 4 secondes plus tard apparait
le nom du programme. Si la station n'a pas
de données de PS, c'est sa fréquence qui
s'affiche.
CT (heure)
Lorsque vous sélectionnez le mode CT a
l'aide de la touche RDS MODE, l'indication
"CT" clignote pendant environ 4 secondes.
Au bout de 4 secondes,
lI'heure sera
affichée.
S'il n'y a pas de données CT parmi les
informations regues, "NO CT" sera affiché.
PTY (Type de programme)
La sélection de PTY entraine I'affichage du
type de programme capté.
TA (annonce trafic)
(Fonction de Recherche TP)
Lorsque vous sélectionnez l'option TA a
l'aide de la touche RDS MODE, indication
"TA" clignote pendant environ 4 secondes.
Au bout de ces 4 secondes, une recherche
des émissions TP regues s'effectue, par pas
de fréquence FM de 50 kHz.
Lorsque les émissions TP captées sont
trouvées, la fréquence se stabilise et on
vous demande si vous voulez recevoir les
infos TA.
En cas de désactivation de TP et de TA en
cours de réception d'une TA, le syntoniseur
effectue de nouveau une recherche des
émissions TA par pas de fréquence de 50
kHz.
Recherche par PTY = type de programme
La recherche de station peut s'effectuer a
l'aide de cette fonction.
El Appuyez sur la touche RDS MODE et la
maintenir enfoncée pendant au moins 1,5
seconde.
L'indication
'afficheur.
"SEARCH"
apparait
sur
AASélectionner le mode PTY désiré en Milisent
les touches TUNING.
(Le programme clignotera.}
E] Appuyer sur !a touche MEMORY.
E} Appuyer sur la touche TUNING.
(La recherche commencera.}
Lorsque
le mode
PTY que vous
avez
sélectionné
est trouvé,
la recherche
s'arrétera et le mode PTY sera affiché,
Si le méme type de programme n'est pas
trouvé pendant la recherche PTY, elle
s'arrétera a la fréquence de départ.
Si vous voulez annuler ja recherche PTY
pendant la recherche, appuyer sur la touche
RDS MODE. La recherche s'arrétera et le
mode
de
recherche
sera
relaché
automatiquement.
