TROUBLESHOOTING
Possible issues which occur during use are listed below. If you cannot solve the
troubles according to following information, please contact your local dealer.

Unable to start
No or little air is discharged from the
air outlet
Although the WFE-260 has been
operating for a long time, air quality is
not significantly improved

It is difficult to remove pollutants in air
Air from the air outlet smells
Part Replacement
The WFE-260 is a maintenance-free device if it is used and stored with care. If you
need to replace it, please contact the Manufacturer or authorised dealer.
Caution: Turn off Power Switch if you want to open the unit to replace filters
or parts.

Possible Solutions
Ensure the power cable is connected to live power
Check for blocked or jammed Inlet or outlet.
The air inlet or air outlet is blocked: remove any obstructing
elements; if the filter is very dirty; replace the filter.
1. Check whether the filters are installed and the the packing
bag is removed from the filter.
2. Check whether the filter is very dirty, and replace the filter
if necessary.
3. Ensure the device is free standing and has adequate
space around it for free air movement. Min. 50cm is
recomended. (refer to the Operating Instructions)
4. Place the hood inlet closer to the source of fumes/dust.
Turn off the unit and remove the plastic filter packaging.
If the situation has not been improved after basic
maintenance, replace the filters.
The filter smells bad within several weeks or months if it is
used under the existence of cigarette, barbecue and other
strong odours, immediately replace the filters, and maintain
adequate indoor ventilation.
