4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the coffee machine and wait for it to cool down before cleaning. Do not immerse
-
the product in water or any other liquid during cleaning.
-
Failure to maintain the product in clean conditions could lead to surface deterioration and
could adversely affect the product's shelf life.
Never use strong detergents, petrol, abrasive powders, or a metal brush to clean any part
-
of the product.
-
After frothing milk, use a dampened soft cloth to clean the milk frother and the nozzle, and
allow some steam to come out to prevent the inside part from blocking due to dry milk.
A complete cleaning cycle is suggested every 3 months. Carry out the following steps:
-
1.
Fill up the water tank, add a commercial descaler according to the proportions suggested
by the manufacturer, and carry out a full cleaning cycle.
2.
Repeat the before step again only with water to rinse the machine's inside and remove all
the cleaning product residue.
