Check and tighten all bolts, fittings, etc., before operating the compressor.
•
To avoid loss of power and overheating, it is best to use an extra air hose instead of extension cords to
reach the work area.
Before its first start-up. Running-in procedure
Perform this procedure before using the compressor for the first time. Once completed, it does not need
to be repeated.
1. Make sure the compressor on/off switch is in the "О" off position.
2. Open the tank drain valve.
3. Check the correspondence between the data on the compressor nameplate with the actual
specifications of the electrical system and plug the power cord into a suitable socket.
4. Set the on/off switch to the on position "I" and run the compressor for 30 minutes.
5. Return the switch to the off position "О".
6. Unplug the power cord.
7. Close the drain valve.
8. At this point, the compressor is ready for use.
Before each start-up. Operating procedure
1. Turn the pressure regulator fully counterclockwise to shut off the air flow.
2. Connect the air hose to the compressor air outlet quick coupling.
3. Set the on/off switch to the "О" off position.
4. Plug in the power cord.
5. Set the on/off switch to the on position "I" and let the compressor run until it reaches the automatic
cut-out pressure.
6. Connect the inflation valve or pneumatic tool connection to the end of the hose.
7. Adjust the regulator to the proper pressure for the pneumatic tool.
WARNING:
READ THE AIR TOOL INSTRUCTION MANUAL BEFORE CONNECTING THE AIR TOOL TO THE COMPRESSOR.
8. To shut down set the switch to the "О" off position, unplug the power cord and empty the reservoir.
ATENTTION:
As the air in the tank is depleted by the use of any tool, the compressor will automatically restart at its
preset "on" pressure. When a tool is used continuously, the compressor will automatically turn on and off.
End of operation / Storage
1. Once your compressor is off and has cooled down, unplug the power cord from the outlet and wrap it
around the handle to prevent damage when not in use.
2. Empty the condensation from the reservoir by opening the drain valve at the bottom of the reservoir.
3. The air hose should be disconnected from the compressor and the open end should hang down to
drain the condensation.
4. The compressor and hose should be stored in a cool, dry place.
