8. TROUBLESHOOTING
ATTENTION: Do not make any modifications to the machine that may damage its operation. Any
alterations or modifications made will invalidate the product warranty. If your device continues to give
errors or presents any type of problem other than those indicated in the following table, please
contact our technical service so that our team can advise you and solve the problem.
Problem
Compressor does not start.
Motor makes noise but
does not run or runs slowly.
Fuses blow / Circuit breaker
trips repeatedly.
Thermal overload protector
repeatedly turns off.
Possible cause
The unit is plugged into the extension cord.
There is no electric current.
Fuse blown.
Open circuit breaker.
Thermal overload.
Defective pressure switch.
Motor winding shorted or open.
Low voltage.
Unit is plugged into an extension cord.
Motor winding short-circuited or open.
Faulty check valve or unloader.
Incorrect fuse size, circuit overloaded.
Unit is plugged into an extension cord.
Faulty check valve or unloader.
Low voltage.
Clogged air filler.
Lack of adequate ventilation / ambient
temperature too high.
Unit is plugged into an extension cord.
Solution
Remove the extension cord or use a heavier
gauge extension cord.
Check that it is properly plugged in / Check
fuse - circuit breaker or motor overload.
Replace blown fuse.
Press again.
Unplug and allow motor to cool before
attempting to restart.
Replace circuit breaker.
Replace motor.
Check with voltmeter.
Remove extension cord or use larger gauge
extension cord.
Replace motor.
Replace or repair.
Check for proper fuse, use a timed fuse.
Remove the extension cord or use a heavier
gauge extension cord.
Replace or repair.
Check with a voltmeter.
Clean the filler (see Maintenance section).
Move the compressor to a well-ventilated
area.
Remove the extension cord.
