INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
C-CP-D-SQ-S13L Series
MOUNTING USING ½" PLUGS ON THE SIDE
1.
Remove the four screws attaching the lens diffuser to the fixture
and set the screws and lens aside.
2.
Remove the screws attaching the reflector to the housing and set
aside.
3.
Remove 1/2" plug from direction you intend to feed conduit. Teflon
tape should be used on conduit threads to prevent water entry.
NOTE: The (2) screws on either side of the 1/2" plug should not
be removed during installation. See Figure 2.
4.
Fixture is best mounted by drilling holes in the four corners of the
housing. Holes should be drilled from the outside of the casting
through the centers of each of the (4) circular ribbed mounting
supports in the corners of the housing. Make sure metal chips are
cleaned from inside housing after drilling. Fixture is to be secured
to the mounting surface using mounting hardware (supplied
by others) appropriate for the mounting surface. A high grade
caulking material, such as silicone rubber, should be used around
all the holes to ensure a watertight enclosure.
5.
Complete the wiring to the incoming power and ground (refer to
"Fixture Wiring" section).
6.
Position the wattage selection switch on the inside of the housing
to the desired setting. See Figure 1.
NOTE: Factory setting is 100%.
7.
Replace the reflector and lens diffuser. Make sure no wires are
pinched when replacing parts. Gradually tighten lens screws in an
"X" pattern. Do not overtighten lens screws to prevent damage to
lens.
