5. Set the desired temperature using the control knob. The heating indicator
will light up.
6. Wait until the heating indicator turns off.
7. Choose one of the cooking methods:
On a closed grill (fig. E): lift the lid and place the food on the lower plate.
Gently lower the lid. Leave the food to cook until the desired doneness.
Note. If you need to check if the food is ready while cooking is in progress,
gently lift the lid by its handle.
On an open grill (fig. F): open the grill to 180° by pressing and holding the
hinge release button, and place the food on the cooking plates. Leave the
food to cook until desired doneness, turning it occasionally with a special
spatula or tongs (not included).
8. Once the desired degree of doneness has been reached, turn the
temperature knob to the "0" position and unplug the device.
9. Remove cooked products from the plates.
10. Wait for the device to cool down completely and clean it (see below).
Cleaning and Maintenance
1. Carefully remove the grease drip tray from the device.
2. Use paper towels to remove food residue and grease from the cooking
plates and the drip tray.
3. Clean the cooking plates and the drip tray with a soft cloth dampened with
a warm detergent solution. Then wipe with a cloth dampened with clean
water.
4. Wipe the cooking plates and the drip tray dry.
5. Install the drip tray in the device.
Troubleshooting
1. The device does not turn on. Possible cause: a defective outlet. Solution:
check if the outlet is working properly by plugging in another device, if
necessary, plug the grill into a working outlet.
2. The device turns on but does not heat up. Possible cause: the temperature is
