ASSEMBLY
Recharge only with the charger
WARNING
specified for the battery. For spe-
cific charging instructions, read the operator's
manual supplied with your charger and battery.
Removing/Inserting the Battery
To remove the battery, push in the release buttons
and pull the battery pack away from the tool.
Always remove battery pack before
WARNING
changing or removing accessories.
To insert the battery, slide the pack into the body
of the tool. Make sure it latches securely into place.
Only use accessories specifically
WARNING
recommended for this tool. Others
may be hazardous.
Battery Pack Protection
To protect the life of the battery pack, the fan will
shut off when the battery's charge becomes too low.
If this happens, remove the battery pack and charge
it according to the charger's instructions.
OPERATION
Fuel Gauge
To determine the amount of charge left in the battery,
turn the tool ON. The fuel gauge will light up for 2-3
seconds. When less than 10% of charge is left, 1
light on the fuel gauge will flash 4 times.
To signal the end of charge, 1 light on the fuel gauge
will flash 8 times and the tool will not run. Charge
the battery pack.
If the battery becomes too hot, the fuel gauge lights
will flash in an alternating pattern and the tool will not
run. Allow the battery to cool down.
Turning On/Off
To turn the fan On, rotate the control switch from O
to I. To turn the fan Off, return the control switch to O.
To adjust the speed of the fan, rotate the control
switch between the I, II and III speed postitions.
I - Low
II - Medium
III - High
Adjusting Fan Angle
To adjust the fan angle, grasp fan by the top handle
and tilt fan forwards or backwards to the desired
angle.The fan pivots 360° in both forward and back-
ward directions.
Hanging/Mounting the Fan
There are many ways to orient the fan to best suit
your job.
• Securely hang or hold the fan from the top handle.
• Use the key-holes located on the bottom of the base
to hang the fan on a screw.
• Use the magnets to secure the fan to a metal surface
at least 1/8" thick.
• Pull the spring loaded clamp from under the fan to
secure it to a surface no more than 2" thick.
