Before starting, check the correct placement of all filters and accessories supplied. During the
start-up, the pressure limiters and safety devices will be checked. After 48 hours of operation, it is
necessary to check the oil levels, refrigerant level and the humidity level in the circuit that should be
less than 50 ppm. If the equipment incorporates removable oil separator, it must be disassembled
to check that there are no particles that could impede its proper functioning. Check that the current
absorption of the machines corresponds to the values indicated on the labels. It is recommended
to check and clean the suction filters supplied with the insured power station that there can be no
residues of the installation. It is also recommended to replace the liquid filters.
CAUTION
Make sure that all protective and safety devices are correctly assembled before
commissioning the Refrigeration Unit.
After a few hours from start-up, with compressors off, check the oil level with the crankcase indi-
cator: if it is below the recommended level, fill it up gradually using oil of the recommended type.
Repeat the control 2 days later (the average load of oil in a team is usually 5% of the refrigerant
charge).
10.2 Checks in the equipment start up
See Appendix 1.
11. ELECTRICAL DIAGRAM OF THE EQUIPMENT
For refrigeration units with specific electrical installation, the electrical diagram is attached to this
manual and / or it is inside the electrical panel.
12. EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
Proper maintenance is a determining factor for a longer duration of the equipment in the best op-
erating conditions and performance while ensuring the safety conditions set by the manufacturer.
13. ORDINARY MAINTENANCE
Operations to be performed after the first hours of operation, approximately 200 hours or 10 days.
Clean the mechanical suction filter of the compressor and remove, when provided, the fabric filter
Check operating temperatures and pressures.
Check the oil stains in correspondence of the refrigeration equipment and screw where necessary.
Check the compressor oil level and fill it up if necessary.
Replace the dehydrator filter cartridge.
