To remove the blade (Fig .3b):
a. Turn the machine upside down and
press the two blade release buttons
simultaneously.
b. Pull the shrub shear blade or grass shear
blade from the machine housing. Make sure
that no dirt gets into the housing when you
change the blade.
WARNING
pressed, the shrub shear blade or grass
shear blade will drop out!
Safety Switch and Trigger Switch (Fig . 4)
The safety switch helps to prevent accidental starting of the machine.
To start:
1. Slide the safety switch forward and keep it in forward position.
2. Depress the trigger switch. Once the machine starts, release the safety switch.
To stop:
1. Move machine away from the cutting area before switching it off
2. Release the trigger switch.
