10 Quality Assurance Temperature Measurement Kits
Cooper-Atkins thermocouple instruments are factory calibrated in an ISO 9001 registered
facility using N.I.S.T. traceable test equipment. Under normal operating conditions, the
instrument should not require recalibration. If you would like your instrument recalibrated
or if a certificate of calibration is needed, please contact Cooper-Atkins customer service or
an authorized repair facility.
IMPORTANT: INSPECTION, TESTING AND REPAIR OF ELECTRICAL
EQUIPMENT SHOULD BE PERFORMED ONLY BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL.

Probable Cause
Damaged or faulty probe
The battery is low
Unit not on
Battery dead
LCD has bad connection
Shorted probe
Corrective Action
Replace probe
Replace battery
Turn unit on
Replace battery
Return thermometer for repair
Replace probe
