Battery Replacement
The instrument uses (2) AAA 1.5V alkaline batteries. A battery icon will appear on the display
when it is time to replace the battery. When the battery voltage falls too low to operate, "LbAt"
appears on the display and the unit will shut-off and not operate until batteries are replaced.
1. Using a suitable coin, insert coin into slot on battery door knob and turn battery door knob
counter-clockwise until rotation stops. The arrow on the knob will point towards the
unlock icon.
2. Pull battery door knob to remove battery door assembly. Remove batteries.
3. Referring to battery polarity drawing on rear label, install (2) AAA alkaline batteries as shown.
4. To install battery door assembly, ensure that battery door knob is turned fully counter-clockwise
and arrow on battery door is pointed towards unlock
assembly until battery door knob is seated against housing. Rotate battery door knob clockwise
until rotation stops. The arrow on battery door knob will point towards lock icon
