PERIODS OF INACTIVITY
If the machine will not be used for longer than 3 weeks:
• Remove, wash and store the squeegee, brush or
pad driver in a dry place (preferably in a bag or
wrapped in plastic film) away from dust.
• Rinse the recovery tank
• Fill detergent tank 1/4 full with clean water. Run
machine for a few minutes to flush out detergent
line.
NOTE: This prevents residual solution from
settling in solenoid valve and coagulating.

• Ensure tanks are completely empty and clean.
BATTERIES
• Charge batteries completely
WARNING! Perform battery operations in a well
ventilated area.
IMPORTANT! Do not check batteries by sparking.
WARNING! Batteries give off flammable
fumes. Put out all fires and hot embers before
checking or topping up the battery level.
• Disconnect main fuse and store fuse in a dry place.
• To avoid permanent damage to the batteries, do
not run charge down completely.

CHARGING THE BATTERY
FOR OPTIMAL BATTERY LIFE
NOTE: Charge batteries prior to first use.
NOTE: The batteries in this unit are rated for 400
cycles. A cycle is defined by discharging and
then recharging one time.
• Initial charge/recharge time: 6-8 hours.
• Run time: Up to 90 minutes of continuous run time.
• Constant starting and stopping may shorten run time.
• Run time/Battery life can vary depending on usage
and maintenance.
• Never store battery in freezing or below freezing
temperatures, this will damage battery.
• Always charge immediately after use.
• Always leave the machine plugged in and turned
OFF when not in use.
• Fully charge machine before storing for extended
periods of time (longer than 3 weeks). For storing
instructions see PERIODS OF INACTIVITY.
• Failure to recharge after every use may result in a
battery that will not accept a charge.
