To prevent malfunction, if the safety lock is activated by pressing the safety lock icon and
is not cancelled before the ceramic hob is switched off, the safety lock function will still be
active when the appliance is switched on again. If the security lock is not deactivated, you will
not be able to use any of the other icons except for the power icon.
9. Setting the timer
- The hob has a timer that counts down from 1 to 99 minutes. If the timer display shows 0
for the initial status, press the "-" icon, the countdown period will be from 30 to 0. At the
end of the countdown period an acoustic signal will sound for 2 minutes. Press any icon
within 2 minutes to stop it.
- Press the timer icon. Use the "+/-" icons to set the countdown time, by pressing the "+"
icon first, the timer will start from 1.
- If you want to cancel the timer, you can set the timer time to zero.
- The timer display will show the countdown time being programmed.
- The timer display will increment in 1-minute increments each time the "+" icon is pressed,
and a short beep will sound.
- The timer display will decrease in 1-minute intervals each time the "-" icon is pressed, and
a short beep will sound.
- If the set time exceeds 99 minutes, the timer display will return to "0".
Notes
- To set the timer, press the timer icon and use the "+/-" icons to enter a new time.
- After selecting the cooking zone, you can set the timer before adjusting the power level
if you do so within 10 seconds (the decimal point of the corresponding display will flash,
1 time every second). If no operation is performed after the timer is set, the timer will
automatically return to 0 (the display will show 00), and the decimal point will turn off.
- After starting the cooking zone, during and after the timer setting, the corresponding
cooking zone indicator light will flash (once every second) and will keep flashing until the
end of the timer.
9.1 Minute hand
The hob timer can be used as a timer for any of the cooking zones without affecting the
cooking process or the power setting of each zone, and each value can be different.
Timing of a single cooking zone
To set the countdown time for a cooking zone, first press the timer icon. The decimal point on
the display of the selected cooking zone will light up. The decimal point on the timer display
will be shown to indicate that the timer set has been related to the selected cooking zone. At
this point, you can use the "+/-" icons to adjust the countdown time.
