Carefullytilt and supportthe unit up to provide
access underneath to the nozzlemountinghardware
and impeller.Removethe threeshoulderbolts
securingthe black plasticlowerflail housingto the
lowerhousing.Referto Figure5-6,

engineto remove,

Usinga 3/16" allenwrench,removethe flat headcap
screwsthat hold the chipperbladeto the impeller.
These screwsare accessiblethroughthe opening
createdwhenthe chipperchute was removedearlier.

reachedfrom underneathusinga 1/2-inchsocket,

springs,bearings,and cables.
Removeall dirt fromexteriorof engine andequip-
ment.

Referto enginemanualfor correctenginestorage
instructions.
Storeequipmentin a clean,dry area.Do not store
in an area whereequipmentispresentthat may use
a pilot lightor hasa componentthat can createa
spark.
