Operating Instructions ___
TURNTABLE OPERATION
1. Set the FUNCTION switch to PHONO.
2. Operate your turntable as instructed.
3. Adjust the VOLUME, BASS, TREBLE, BAL-
ANCE and other controls to the desired sound
level and tone quality.
NOTE:
The volume control should be set to the minimum
position until the stylus of your turntable descends
onto the record.
TUNER OPERATION
1. Set the FUNCTION switch to TUNER.
2. Operate your tuner as instructed.
3. Adjust the VOLUME, BASS, TREBLE, BAL-
ANCE and other controls to the desired sound
level and tone quality.
CASSETTE DECK OPERATION
Playback:
1. Press the MONITOR switch to TAPE. Setting the
MONITOR switch to TAPE will make the
FUNCTION switch inoperative.
2. Set the cassette deck to playback mode.
3. Adjust the VOLUME, BASS, TREBLE, BAL-
ANCE and other controls to the desired sound
level and tone quality.
Recording:
1. Set the FUNCTION switch according to the
sound source to be recorded. In preparation for
recording.
2. Set the cassette deck in use to the recording mode.
COMPACT DISC PLAYER PLAYBACK
1. Set the FUNCITON switch to CD.
2. Operate the compact disc player following the
instruction manual provided with the compact
disc player.
3. Adjust the VOLUME, BASS, TREBLE, BAL-
ANCE and other controls to the desired sound
level and tone quality.
