OPERATION
After connecting the device to the mains, the spot starts running. This unit has two operating modes. It can
be run DMX-controlled or as a Stand Alone-unit.
STAND ALONE-OPERATION
In Stand Alone mode, The LED PS-86 RGB can be operated without a controller.
Sound controlled color change
In order to select "Sound controlled color change", set dip switch 12 to ON on the master device.
Fuzzy sound controlled color change
(Program continues automatically after 10 seconds without music or bass-beat.) In order to select
"Fuzzy sound controlled color change", set dip switches 9, 10 and 12 to ON on the master device.
12-color fade
In order to select "Color fade", set dip switches 9 and 10 to ON on the master device.
Adjust speed via dip switches 5, 6, 7 and 8.
Strobe
In order to select "Strobe", set dip switches 9 and 11 to ON on the master device.
Adjust speed via dip switches 5, 6, 7 and 8.
Flash
In order to select "Flash", set dip switches 9, 10 and 11 to ON on the master device.
Adjust speed via dip switches 5, 6, 7 and 8.
Sound controlled color change with Strobe
In order to select "Sound controlled color change with Strobe", set dip switches 9, and 12 to ON on the
master device.
7 Static colors
In order to select "Static colors", set dip switches 9, 11 and 12 to ON on the master device.
Adjust colors via dip switch 1 to 7 on the master device.
DMX-CONTROLLED OPERATION
You can control the devices individually via your DMX-controller. Every DMX-channel has a different
occupation with different features.
Addressing the device
Set Dip switch 1 to ON on the Master device.
Dip switches 1 - 9 set the DMX addresses.
Set DIP switch 1 and 12 o ON on the Slave device
Each device occupies 5 channels. To ensure that the control signals are properly directed to each device,
the device requires addressing. This is to be adjusted for every single device by changing the DIP-switches
as set out in the table below.
The starting address is defined as the first channel from which the device will respond to the controller.
Please make sure that you do not have any overlapping channels in order to control each device correctly
and independently from any other fixture on the DMX data link. If two, three or more devices are addressed
similarly, they will work similarly.
