3.3. Cleaning and maintenance
a)
Use only non-corrosive cleaning agents for cleaning the surfaces.
b)
After each cleaning, all parts should be thoroughly dried before the device is
reused.
c)
Store the unit in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct
sunlight.
d)
Do not spray the unit with a stream of water or immerse it in water.
e)
Make sure that no water enters through the ventilation openings in the casing.
f)
Perform regular inspections of the unit checking technical fitness and any
damages.
g)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
h)
Do not leave the batteries in the unit when it will not be used for a long time.
i)
Do not clean the unit with acidic substances, medical agents, thinners, fuel,
oils, or other chemicals. It may cause damage to the device.
j)
Clean the filter surfaces regularly.
k)
Always keep sensors and solar batteries in top shape with a clean, lint-free
tissue/cloth. You can use alcohol and cotton for wiping.
l)
Use a neutral detergent to clean the welding shield and headband.
m) Periodically replace the outer and inner protection plates.
n)
Do not submerge the lens in water or any other liquid. Never use abrasives,
solvents, or oil-based cleaners.
