Tips and common problems
1) The auto-darkening filter does not darken nor flicker
The outer or inner protective lens is dirty or damaged. Clean or replace the
•
protective lens.
The sensors are dirty. Clean the sensor surface.

Welding current is too low. Set the alert level to high.
•
2) Slow response
•
The operating temperature is too low (do not use in temperatures below -
5°C or 23°F).
3) Poor visibility
The outer or inner protective lens and/or the filter lens are dirty. Replace
•
the lens.
Insufficient amount of ambient light
•
The shade level is set incorrectly. Set the shade level again.
•
4) The headband slips off
The headband is not adjusted correctly. Re-adjust the headband.

CAUTION! The operator must stop using the product immediately if the above-
mentioned problems cannot be repaired. Contact the manufacturer for repair.
Instructions for the safe disposal of batteries.
