1. If no test series exists, create a new test series with Yes.
2. To abort measurement select Cancel.
3. If test series exists, it is opened in the last measurement mode.
4. Place instrument on sample.
5. Press button operate to take a reading.
6.4 Organizer Measurement
An organizer defines a measurement sequence for user guidance, e.g. measuring a car
body with several check zones. Organizers are generated with the software smart-pro-
cess and transferred to the instrument.
1. Select the appropriate organizer, e.g. "Car 01".
2. Select the appropriate car color, e.g. "811 Pearl White".
3. Select the appropriate automotive paint line, e.g. "Line 1".
4. Enter following data, if required - depends on organizer settings:
5. Measure the standard (color), if not yet existing in memory.
6. Perform the required number of readings on the 1
7. Press button operate to move to the next check zone.
8. To skip a check zone, press the mode wheel and select Interrupt Statistic. The
number of readings is set to zero.
In smart-chart tolerances can be set for each color. If Pass / Fail mode is selected in the
organizer and the measurements are within the tolerance range, PASS is indicated in the
display. If not, FAIL is displayed. Values out of tolerance are highlighted.
NOTICE
To skip a check zone, the option Interrupt must be activated in smart-chart in the organ-
izer!
