Connect the speaker wires to the speakers. Fig. 15
Secure extra controller cable with wire ties. Fig 16
Note: Trim wire tie ends. Make certain there are no loose ends of wire ties or wires
that can contact the plastic housing or the tailgate in order to prevent buzzes or
rattles from vibration.
Reconnect the negative battery cable.
Install speaker baffle over step hinges and install the six supplied Torx-head bolts – leave loose.
Test function of speaker system. Refer to Bluetooth Controller Manual.
Note: Inner and outer tailgates must be in the fully down position for the speaker
system to operate.
Install and tighten the four supplied screws. Do not overtighten! Fig 17
