• The pump's water jet splits the eggs or damages the fish fillets: turn the pump outlet towards the
container wall; this will greatly reduce the flow of the pump outlet. It is also a good idea to put the
eggs in a bag to prevent them from being "blown" around in certain containers.
Low water level alarm:
• Add more water: the water level may drop during operation due to water turbulence. The pump
generates "waves", sometimes these waves cause the water level in the sensors to fluctuate up
and down. Waves sometimes lower the water level just below the sensor and cause a water
shortage alarm. This is normal and just add more water. The display will show "Err" with Bi-Bi
alarm for 2 minutes to return to the original state or until no more water is added and the
appliance is restarted.
The temperature read does not match the thermometer:
• Sous Vide circulators are calibrated to scientific platinum primary standards which are much
more accurate than shop thermometers.
The appliance does not work
• Check the power plug and switches.
The lights flicker slightly when the appliance is turned on
• This is a normal phenomenon

The producer Melchioni Spa declares that the product Sous vide mod. Sousy (cod. 118360028) is
in compliance with Directive 2009/125/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 21
october 2009, establishing a framework for the setting of ecodesign requirements for energy-related
products.
The producer Melchioni Spa declares that the product Sous vide mod. Sousy (cod. 118360028) is
in compliance with Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 8 june
2011 and subsequent Commission Delegated Directive 2015/863, on the restriction of the use of
certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
According to Directive 2012/19/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 4
july 2012, on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), the presence of the
crossed-out bin symbol indicates that this appliance is not to be considered as urban
