7. Fuel supply
• Follow fuel safety rules (page 17).
• Wait for the engine to cool down completely
before refueling.
• Place the equipment on a flat surface.
• Clean around the fuel tank cap to prevent
contamination.
• Unscrew and remove the fuel cap.
• Place the lid on a dust free place.
• Being careful to avoid spillage, pour the fuel
mixture into the tank to 80% of its capacity.
Follow fuel specifications (page 17).
• Before capping the fuel tank, check and clean
the joints.
• Immediately install the fuel tank cap and
hand-tighten it.
•Clean up any fuel spills around the unit.
It is normal for a new engine to have smoke
emissions during and after first use.
8. Ignition
8.1 Cold motor ignition
• Turn on the engine switch (A).
• Place the equipment on a firm level surface.
• Move the throttle lever to the low speed
position (B).
• Press and release the primer bulb 10 times
until fuel flows from the clear tube. (C).
• Move the choke lever to the position
• Pull the starter 3 to 5 times (D) to get fuel into
the engine, then pull the starter fast and hard to
start the engine. Once the engine starts, do not
release the starter, carefully return it gently to
its starting position to avoid damaging it.
• Once the engine starts slowly move the choke
lever to the
position.
• Keep the throttle lever in the low speed
position and let the engine warm up for 2-3
minutes, the machine is ready to operate.

8.2 Hot motor ignition
• Mueva la palanca de aceleración a la posición
