This compressor is designed to inflate objects with back
pressure (with air on the inside) and a valve, for example
partially inflated car and bicycle tyres, balls and other small
inflatable items.
When you work with the compressor, you should consider
certain precautions and operating procedures:
▪ The compressor is not suitable for inflating large objects,
as it may heat up too quickly without counter pressure;
▪ The compressor is not suitable for continuous operation.
It is designed to generate air pressure, not air volume:
- In the case of high-volume objects, do not run the
compressor for longer than 5 minutes without
interruption to avoid overheating and damage to the
compressor;
- If you need a pressure of more than 3 bar in a car tyre,
do not use the compressor for longer than 3 minutes
without interruption.
After these periods, it is necessary to pause for 20 minutes
to allow the compressor to cool down.
▪ Make sure that no grains of sand or other small foreign
bodies penetrate the air inlet and outlet;
▪ Never place flammable objects or nylon and fabric
objects near and/or on top of the compressor;
▪ The pipes or hoses connected to the compressor must
have the same flow and pressure characteristics as the
compressor's technical specifications;
▪ The compressor may only be operated in rooms with a
temperature between +5°C and +45°C.
Before starting the compressor, you must ensure
that all components are properly assembled.
Once you have fitted the appropriate inflation accessory for
the object you are going to inflate, the compressor is ready
for use.
1. Make sure the ON/OFF switch (7) is in the "0" position;
2. Plug in the power cord (1);
3. Insert the inflation accessory or screw the air hose fitting
(5) onto the object to be inflated;
4. Turn the ON/OFF switch to the "I" position;
5. When the desired inflation pressure has been reached,
switch off the compressor: turn the ON/OFF switch to the
"0" position;
6. Remove the air hose fitting or inflation accessory and
unplug the power cord;
(When removing the fitting or inflation accessory, air
may be released from the object's valve. For this reason,
quickly remove the valve or accessory).
In the case of inflatable objects with counter pressure (e.g.
partially inflated car tyres) turn the ON/OFF switch (7) to
position "I" before placing the air-line fitting on the tyre.
To measure the air pressure inside the inflatable object, it
is not necessary to switch on the compressor.
1. Attach the compressor's inflation accessory to the
object's inflation valve;
2. Read the pressure shown on the pressure gauge display
(3);
3. Remove the inflation accessory from the object's
inflating valve.
The pressure gauge is not calibrated. For this reason, after
inflating objects where incorrect pressure could cause
accidents (e.g. car tyres), go to a qualified workshop and
use a calibrated compressor.
