TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Motor stops immediately
after starting.
Motor runs but no suction.
Motor runs but suction is
poor.
Abnormal sound from
machine.

Motor protection tripped
Wrong fuse.
Motor protection tripped. *
Hose not connected.
Hose is blocked.
The container is not properly
fi tted.
Hole in the hose.
Clogged fi lter.
Hose too long or too small
Hose is kinked.
Machine top is incorrectly
fi tted.
Dust is packed in the
cyclone.

Solution
Fit the correct fuse.

Investigate why the motor has
overloaded. Note that if the
machine has been operating
with too much throttle, the
motor protection may have
tripped to protect against
overheating. Wait 5 minutes.
Reset by fi rst turning to the
0 position and then to the
starting position.
Connect the hose.
Locate and remove blockage.
Fit the container.
Change or repair hose.
Clean or replace fi lter.
Change the hose.
Check and free.
Adjust to fi t properly.
Remove the top and clean
out.
Order a service.
