Check In-Line Filter
Refer to Figure H 3 and service the inoHine fiHter if it
becomes cHogged_as follows:
NozzHe Extension
Ooring
H. Detach spray gun and nozzHe extension from high
pressure hose. Detach nozzHe extension from spray
gun and remove o°ring and screen from nozzHe
extension. Rush screen_ spray gun_ and adiustabHe
nozzHe extension with dean water to dear debris.
2. Race inoHinefiHter screen into threaded end of nozzHe
extension. Direction does not matter. Push screen in
with eraser end of penciH undH it rests fiat at bottom of
opening.Take care not to bend the screen.
3. Race ooring into recess. Push ooring snugHyagainst ino
HinefiHter screen.
4. AssembHe nozzHe extension to spray gum as described
earHier in manual
Nozzle Maintenance
A puHsingsensation fek whiHe squeezing the spray gun
trigger may be caused by excessive pump pressure.The
principaH cause of excessive pump pressure is a nozzHe
dogged or restricted with foreign materiaHs, such as dirt,
etc.To correct the probHem, immediateHy dean the orifice
foHHowingthese instructions:
H. Shut off engine and turn off water suppHy.
2. Remove orifice from end of nozzHe extension. Separate
nozzHe extension from spray gun.Twist nozzHe
cHockwise to stream position. Using a 2ram (5/64) aHHen
wrench, remove orifice from end of nozzHe extension
(Figure H4).
3. Remove inoHine fiH[er from other end of nozzHe
extension.
4. Use a small paper clip to free any foreign material
dogging or restricting orifice (Figure H4).
5. Using a garden hose_ remove addidonaH debris by bacH<
flushing water through nozzHe extension (Figure H 5).
BacH<flush between 30 to 60 seconds.Turn adius[abHe
nozzHe extension to stream spray and move nozzHe
from How to high whiHe flushing.
6. ReinstaHH orifice and inoHinefilter into nozzHe extension.
DO NOT overtighten orifice with aHHen w rench.
7. Reconnect nozzHe extension to spray gun.
8. Reconnect water suppHy,turn on water, and start
engine.
9. Test pressure washer by operating with nozzHe in high
and How positions.
