Digit Entry Keys: The calculator uses the conventional 10-key indexing keyboard,
and includes the double zero key and decimal point key. Whole numbers are entered
exactly as they are written.
Operating Keys
This section illustrates the keys on your calculator and explains the function(s) of each key. The print symbol
associated with each key is also shown. When the calculator is in the print mode, the symbol is printed on
the tape whenever you depress the associated key.

_Function_
Clear/Clear Entry Key: When depressing once after a numeric key but before
a function key, this key clears only the display (the most recent entry).
C
When depressing once after a function key (or once after numeric key), this clears
the entire calculation. It does not clear memory.
You can also use the C/CE key to clear error or overflow conditions. Depressing
the key once clears the error or overflow and the entry that caused the error or
overflow, but does not clear the entire calculation. Depressing the C/CE key twice
clears the error or overflow condition and the calculation (expect in the case of
memory overflow).
+■
Addition Key: The Addition key performs addition, repeat addition and incremental
item count.
+
If you depress the + key immediately after depressing the % key, percent
add-on occurs.
-
Subtraction Key: The Subtraction key performs subtraction, repeat subtraction,
credit balance and incremental item count.
If you depress the - key immediately after depressing the % key, percent
discount occurs.
S
Subtotal Key: The Subtotal key prints or prints/displays but does not clear the
current contents of the accumulator. You can use this key to obtain a subtotal and
continue your calculation.
