Backspace Key: The Backspace key shifts the entry display one digit to the right,
allowing you to correct a mistaken digit entry without clearing the entire display.
M+
Memory Plus Key: This key has three functions:
You can add a number directly to the memory register by entering the number
and depressing the M+ key. Depressing this key in the middle of an addition or
subtraction operation adds only the last number entered to memory and does not
complete the operation.
You can add the result of a calculation to the memory register by completing the
calculation and depressing the M + key. (You can also add an intermediate result
obtained with the Subtotal key to memory.)
You can use the M+ key instead of the = key to complete multiplication and division
calculations and add the result to the memory register in one step.
M-
Memory Minus Key: This key has three functions:
You can subtract directly from the memory register by entering the number and
depressing the M- key. Depressing this key in the middle of an addition or
subtraction operation subtracts only the last number entered from the memory and
does not complete the operation.
You can subtract the result of a calculation from the memory register by completing
the calculation and depressing the M— key. (You can also subtract an intermediate
result obtained with the Subtotal (S) key from memory.)
You can use the M- key instead of the = key to complete multi¬
plication and division calculations and subtract the result from the
memory register in one step.
MS
Memory Subtotal Key: This key prints and displays, but does not clear the contents
of the memory register.
MT
Memory Total Key: This key prints, displays and clears the contents of the
memory register.
Minus Sign: Negative results are shown in the display with a minus sign preceding results.
Memory Indicator: ''M'* appears in the display to indicate that a value is being retained
in memory.
Error/Overflow: ERROR is printed to indicate either division by zero or excess digit capacity.
Grand Tota! Indicator;
"O"
illuminates when the Grand Total memory continues an amount.
