Be sure to follow local regulations when disposing of an old
unit. Some suggestions are listed below:
1. Remove items and defrost the unit. Be sure to clean up
any biological safety hazards.
2. Remove the cabinet door to help prevent entrapment
inside of a unit.
3. Have a certifi ed technician remove the refrigerant and
compressor, then drain the compressor and oil from
the system. Disposal of the unit should be done by
following local regulations.
