Read carefully these Instructions before mounting the roof rack.
In case of any doubts please contact an authorized ŠKODA AUTO
dealer.
Note. The figures in the instructions provide general
mounting information.
In the instruction manual, the procedure for mount-
ing the roof rack to ŠKODA RAPID (NH3) vehicles is
described and explained using figures. The roof rack is
mounted to other vehicle types mentioned in the
instructions in exactly the same way. The roof racks
differ in the design details (including the shape of the
base), but they are mounted to the vehicle roof in
exactly the same way.
Area of application
The roof rack is designed for transport of loads, including bulk
objects (e.g. boxes for skis, bicycles, etc.).

The maximum loading capacity of the vehicle roof, the rack
included, is 75 kg (Fig. 25).
The maximum roof load for SUPERB (3V3) vehicles, including the
rack, is 100 kg (fig. 25).
Because of safety reasons, the maximum loading capacity of the
roof must not be exceeded!
Make sure you drive carefully with a load on the roof, do not
exceed maxim. speed of 120 km/h.
Important instructions for fitting. When assembling the
roof rack, follow precisely the steps described in the
manual!
If you fail to do so, there is a high risk of damaging the
body!
When mounting the roof rack, the door of the vehicle
must be open.
The manual describes how to fasten the front rack.
Proceed in the same way to fasten the rear rack on the
vehicle roof.

- front rack (the left and right side of it)
