HANDRAIL INSTALLATION
NOTE: Do not tighten bolts until instructed to.
1.
Install Left handrail (A) into the rear stile tubes. Use
the rubber mallet as needed for mating parts.
(See Diagram 2, Step 1)
2. Detach handrail brackets that are shipped attached
to the handrail.
3. Clamp side handrail to outside of stile tubes using
detached handrail brackets and 3⁄8-16 x 2" hex
head cap screws, gray bushings and self-locking
nuts. (See Diagram 2, Step 2)
4. Repeat step 4 with Right handrail (B).
HANDRAIL EXTENSION PANEL
INSTALLATION
1.
Install handrail extension panels (E) into support
tubes located on the side of the deep top. Use the
rubber mallet as needed for mating parts.
(See Diagram 2, Step 3)
2. Clamp the handrail extension panels to the side
handrails using handrail extension clamps and
3⁄8-16 x 2" hex head cap screws and self-locking
nuts. (See Diagram 2, Step 4)

REAR HANDRAIL BAR INSTALLATION
1.
Detach rear handrail bar (C) from the handrail or
extension panel.
2. Insert notched bushing into each end of rear
handrail bar (C).
3. Position rear handrail bar between mounting holes on
handrail extension panels (E). (See Diagram 2, Step 5)
4. Attach using two 1/4-20 x 2¾" hex head cap screws.
NOTE: You may tighten all handrail bolts.
LEVELING
1.
Stand ladder upright on a level surface.
2. Weight ladder to compress casters, making sure
ladder rests level on all four legs.
3. When all steps are level, tighten all installed bolts.
NOTE: Do not proceed until ladder is stable.
