16 POP-UP PREPARATION
Remove Flange (16A) from the Drain Body (16B). Remove Locknut (16C),
Friction Washer (16D), Rubber Washer (16E) and Stopper (16F) from Flange
(16A).

17 POP-UP INSTALLATION
The Flange (17A) can be installed with or without Rubber Seal (17B). If Flange
(17A) is installed without Rubber Seal, apply a small bead of plumber's putty
underneath the Flange (17A) and around Drain Opening (17C). Insert Flange
(17A) into Drain Opening (17C). From underneath, slide Rubber Washer
(17D) and Friction Washer (17E) onto the bottom of Flange (17A). Thread
Locknut (17F) until Rubber Washer (17D) seats securely inside Drain Opening
(17C). Remove excess plumber's putty. Wrap PTFE plumber's tape to the
bottom external threads of Flange (17A) according to manufacturer's instruc-
tions. Thread Drain Body (17G) to bottom of Flange (17A) and adjust so that
the Ball Rod Opening (17H) faces the rear.

18 POP-UP PREPARATION
Remove Flange (18A) and Tailpiece (18B) from the Drain Body (18C). Re-
move Stopper (18D) from Flange (18A).

19 ALL METAL POP-UP INSTALLATION
The Flange (19A) can be installed with or without Rubber Seal (19B). If Flange
(19A) is installed without rubber seal, apply a small bead of plumber's putty
underneath the Flange (19A) and around Drain Opening (19C). From under-
neath, insert threaded end of Drain Body (19D) up through Drain Hole (19C).
Hand tighten the Flange (19A) onto the Drain Body (19D) from the top of the
sink. From underneath, adjust the Drain Body (19D) so that the Ball Rod
Opening (19E) faces the rear. Thread Locknut (19F) from underside of sink
until Rubber Washer (19G) seats securely inside Drain Opening (19C). Re-
move excess plumber's putty. Wrap PTFE plumber's tape to the top external
threads of Tailpiece (19H) according to manufacturer's instructions. Thread
Tailpiece (19H) to bottom of Drain Body (19D).
