PLEASE READ THE MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE OPERATION
When using this electric oven, basic precautions should always be followed, including
the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces – use handles and knobs.
3. Children must be supervised when near this appliance.
4. To prevent electric shock, do not immerse the appliance, its cord or plug in water or
other liquids.
5. Never allow the cord to hang over the edges of tables or counters. To avoid damage,
keep the cord away from hot surfaces.
6. If the appliance, its cord or plug is damaged or the appliance malfunctions in any way,
do not use it. Return the appliance to the store of purchase for repair or adjustment.
7. Accessories, which are not manufacturer-recommended, can cause damage or injury.
8. Keep this appliance away from hot gas, electric burners, heated ovens and other heat
sources.
9. When in use, ensure there are at least four inches of space on all sides of the
appliance, so air can circulate properly.
10. When not in use and before cleaning, unplug the appliance. Allow the appliance to
cool before removing parts and cleaning.
11. To disconnect, turn the 'TIMER' control knob to the 'OFF' position, then remove the
plug. When unplugging, do not pull the cord – instead, grasp the plug and pull.
12. When moving an appliance with hot oil or other hot liquid, take extreme caution.
13. When this appliance is in use, do not use metal to touch any part of the oven.
14. When removing the tray or disposing of hot grease, take extreme caution.
15. Do not clean this appliance with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad
and touch electrical parts, increasing the risk of electric shock.
16. Whilst the appliance is in use, do not leave it unattended.
17. To prevent the risk of fire or electric shock, do not place oversized foods and metal
utensils in the oven.
18. Keep the appliance away from curtains, draperies, walls and other flammable
materials. Never cover the appliance. Do not store items on the appliance when in
use.
19. When using containers, which are NOT made from metal or glass, take extreme
caution.
20. Do not place any of the following materials on the oven: Cardboard, plastic, paper or
anything similar.
21. Do not store materials inside this appliance, unless recommended by the
manufacturer.
22. When placing and removing items from the hot oven, wear protective and insulated
oven gloves or use the tray handle. Before cleaning, wait for the metal parts to cool
down completely.
23. This appliance is for household use only, do not use outdoors.
24. Do not use this appliance for anything other than its intended use.
25. Under guided supervision, this appliance can be used by children aged eight years
and above, provided they understand the potential risks and hazards. Under guided
supervision, this appliance can be used by persons with disabilities or persons
without experience, provided they understand the potential risks and hazards.
