1 / What to do in the event of malfunction?
1. Check that the filter bag is not full or damaged.
a. If it is full, empty the filter bag as in section "Cleaning the cleaner after use",
page 21.
b. If it is damaged, replace the filter bag.
2. Check that the impeller is not stuck as in section "Cleaning and releasing the impel-
ler", page 22.
a. Remove anything that could disrupt the rotation of the impeller.
b. If the impeller is not turning, but nothing seems to disrupt it or it does not
seem damaged, contact your supplier.
3. Check that the batteries are charged and functional.
a. Check each Ni-MH battery with a voltmeter after having charged them for at
least 10 minutes (see section "Charging", page 20). If the tension measured
is "0", the battery is faulty.
b. Contact your supplier to obtain Ni-MH batteries.
c. If all batteries seem faulty, check the charger's tension. If needed, contact your
supplier to have it replaced.
NOTE: Using a different charger from the original one can damage the device
and cause warranty cancellation.
4. Check that no other part has been damaged (v-shape clip, valve, latch).
a. If needed, replace the faulty part.
