Setting the rotational speed
The rotational speed can be preselected to 250/
min or 750/min as required on switch Pos. 2
(Fig. 1).
Working with the cordless foldable
screwdriver:
1. Pull back the spring sleeve of the tool holder
and insert a suitable bit into the tool holder
Pos. 8 up to the limit stop (Fig. 1b). Release
to lock in the spring sleeve.
2. Insert the tip of the bit directly onto the
screw fi rst.
3. Switch the device on and off or select the
desired direction of rotation by pressing or
releasing the desired side of the right/left
toggle switch.
4. Keep the longitudinal axis of the bit or the
output shaft aligned with the screw to be
inserted or removed. Holding the bit at an
angle can cause it to slip or jam.
Reaching the preselected torque is symbolised
by a clearly audible "clack" and the motor swit-

ches off automatically. If the screw connection
is to be extra tightened by hand, the device can
be used for this purpose like a normal screwdri-
ver. The rear housing part 5 (Fig. 1) can be bent
for this purpose: This provides a favourable grip
position to comfortably apply the necessary
torque.
Apply only as much pressure as is necessary
to keep the screw in place and the bit insert in
contact with the screw head. Too much pres-
sure may damage the screw head and bit, too
little pressure will cause the bit to slip away
during the screwdriving process.
Maintenance, cleaning and care
Caution!
Disconnect the mains plug prior to every ad-
justment, maintenance measure or repair!
Every device is dirtied by dust when working.
Cleaning is therefore essential. To ensure a long
service life, however, the device should be clea-
ned with a soft cloth or brush after each use.
Mild soap or other suitable cleaning agent may
be used in this context. Solvents or cleaning
agents containing alcohol (e.g. petrol, cleaning
alcohols etc.) should be avoided as they could
damage the plastic casings.
Service note
Please note:
The mains power input to the charger may only
be replaced by our Proxxon Service Department
or a qualifi ed specialist!
