Before using any electrical appliance, always observe the following basic

ing. Allow to cool down before putting on or taking off parts and before
cleaning the appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions. If the appliance or the cable is damaged, con-
tact customer service.
• The use of accessories not recommended by the appliance manufactur-
er may cause injury.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of kitchen table or bench, or touch hot
surfaces.
• Always connect the plug to the appliance first, then plug the cord into
the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to the "off" position, then
remove plug from wall outlet.
• Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
hot oven.
• Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
• When the appliance is in operation, never leave it unattended.
• Great care must be taken when popping the popcorn. Always turn the
unit upside down on a counter so that residual hot oil or escaping water
does not cause burns.
• Never handle or replace the power cord that carries the product, this
could cause an electric shock or burns.
• This appliance is not designed to be operated by means of a timer or sep-
arate remote control system.
• For safety reasons, a damaged or faulty power cord should only be re-
placed by the brand's comeback center.
