WARRANTY
Warranty. Seller warrants to the original purchaser that its Gas Connectors are free of defects in material
and workmanship for five years from the date of purchase. All other products are free of defects in
materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Any warranty claim should be
promptly reported by purchaser during the Warranty period. If the product or
any part is found by Seller upon examination to be defective in material or workmanship it will be
repaired or replaced at Seller's option. Replacement of such equipment will be effectuated only upon
return of the defective product with proof of purchase during the warranty period to Seller at the following
address: Krowne Metal Corporation, 100 Haul Road, Wayne, NJ 07470. This limited warranty does not
cover defects or damage which occurred during shipping or resulting from accidents, alterations,
unauthorized repair, failure to follow instructions, misuse, wear and tear or acts of God.
Warranty Limitation and Exclusion. Seller's warranty obligation is limited to providing repair or
replacement of gas connectors during the warranty period at Seller's option. Seller shall have no obliga-
tion to repair or replace gas connectors damaged during shipment or during installation if not installed in
accordance with standards set forth in the American Gas Association Standards or
American National Standards. Seller will have no further warranty obligation under this Agreement if the
equipment is subject to abuse, misuse, negligence or accident or if Purchaser fails to perform any of the
duties set forth herein.
Disclaimer of Unstated Warranties. The warranty printed above is the only warranty applicable
to this purchase. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO,
THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE
DISCLAIMED.
Limitation of Liability. It is understood and agreed that the seller's liability whether in contract, in tort,
under any warranty, in negligence or otherwise shall not exceed the replacement of the defective product
or part at Seller's cost (labor and freight at Purchaser's expense) and under no circumstances shall Seller
be liable for special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
The price stated for the equipment is a consideration in limiting Seller's liability. No action, regardless or
form, arising out of the transactions under this agreement may be brought by purchaser more than one
year after the cause of action has accrued.
Disclaimer of Damages. SELLER AND ITS EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND FRANCHISES WILL IN NO EVENT BE
LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER INDIRECT OR SPECIAL DAMAGES SUFFERED
BY BUYER, ANY OF ITS EMPLOYEES, AGENTS OR ANY OTHER PERSON, WHETHER ARISING UNDER
CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR ANY OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY. Such
damages include, but are not limited to, loss of profits, loss of use of the goods, damage to property, and
claims of third parties.
Some States do not allow limitations or exclusions of consequential or incidental damages, or limitations
on the length of an implied warranty, therefore, the above limitation or exclusion may not be applicable.
Because rights vary from state to state you may have other rights under this warranty. ANY WARRANTIES,
REPRESENTATIONS OR STATEMENTS BY ANY AGENT OR REPRESENTATIVE OF KROWNE METAL CORPO-
RATION THAT DIFFER IN ANY WAY FROM THE TERMS OF THIS WRITTEN AGREEMENT SHALL HAVE AND
SHALL BE GIVEN NO FORCE OR EFFECT.
Thank you for your purchase of this superior quality Royal Series* Gas Connector Hose.
Limited Lifetime Warranty. Seller warrants the original purchaser that its Krowne Metal Corporation's
Gas Hoses will not leak under normal use for the life of the appliance that it is attached to. Although a
leak is highly unlikely, a new Krowne Gas Connector will be sent out at no charge to replace connector.
