Taking pictures at close range

≥ When the camera to subject distance is 0.5 m
to 1.5 m, the light emitted from the flash will be
skewed. For this reason, while holding down
the bounce unlock button, point the flash head
downward (7 degrees), and then take the
picture.
Point the flash head down as far
as it will go (7 degrees
downward).
≥ [
] appears on the display panel.
≥ Vignetting may be caused by the light from the
flash when the lens has a long overall length or
a large diameter. Take a test photo first, and
then take the picture.
≥ Use the flash in this way only for close-up
photos. If you keep the flash head pointed
down during regular photo taking, the light
emitted from the flash at the top of the screen
will be insufficient.

Selecting the lighting angle manually

≥ The lighting angle can be adjusted manually.
Push the [ZOOM] button, and
select the lighting angle.
