Installing the drain hose
When using the dehumidifier, the drain hose must be installed.
1.
Remove the dehumidifier drain outlet cover.
2.
Attach the drain hose to the dehumidifier drain outlet.
3.
Place the other end of the drain hose into a bucket, water outlet pipe or drain. Make
sure the hose is inclined at an angle of at least 20 degrees towards the floor.
NOTE: To prevent blockages, air locks and potential flooding, do not bend or crush
the hose and make sure that the end of the hose cannot become submerged in
water or become blocked in any way.
Installing the remote control batteries
1.
Slide the remote control cover in the direction of the arrow.
2.
Insert 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries (not provided) into the battery compartment ensuring
that you follow the polarity (+ and -) as shown.
3.
Replace the battery compartment cover making sure it clicks firmly back into place.
4.
The remote control is now ready to use.
CAUTION! Remove the batteries whenever you do not plan on using the remote
control for a long period of time.
Operation
WARNING! Before switching on the unit, make sure it has been kept in an upright
position for at least 24 hours.
Switching the unit on/off
•
Connect the plug to a mains socket. The unit will beep and the current temperature will
display.
•
Press the
button to switch on the unit.
•
The fan mode (the default mode) will begin in low speed. The fan and low power indicator
lights will display.
•
Press the
button again to switch off the unit.
•
Unplug the appliance from the wall socket to completely switch it off.
NOTE: If you switch off the unit but do not unplug it, the unit will remember the
last used settings (except for the timer settings) when it is switched on again. If
you unplug the unit, the unit will reset and return to the default settings.
