Frost protection
When operating the unit at low room temperatures, frost may build up on or around the
cooling elements. The unit will detect if the internal temperature is below -1°C for more
than 3 minutes. Then it will automatically stop the compressor and run the fan. During this
time, the power indicator will flash. Once the internal temperature has risen to 7°C or above,
the power indicator light will stop flashing, the fan will turn off and restart the compressor.
Overload protection
Should the unit turn off due to a power cut or overheating, you must wait 3 minutes before
restarting it. If the plug is removed, all programmed timer settings will be lost and the unit
will start in the default mode.
The overload protection may trip if the temperature goes above the optimal working temperature
of 35°C.
NOTE: If any windows or doors are left open whilst the unit is in air conditioning
or dehumidifying mode and the relative humidity is above 80%, condensation may
drip from the cold air outlet.
