Connecting to the Mains
F4 basic milling machines are delivered ready for operation with universal power supplies, including the
appropriate mains connection cables for the intended country of use.
Under no circumstances should you attempt to make modifications to the machine or the
power supply cable supplied with it.
Your power supply connection must have a functional protective earthing.
2.3 Safety Tips
Important: Wear protective glasses!
Milling and boring produces chips that can be spun around by the machining tools. So always put on
protective glasses before starting the machine.
Please observe the safety requirements for rotary tools. There is a risk of injury.
Only operate the F4 basic Milling Machine with original spare parts and accessories. This is the only
way to meet the indicated performance data and guarantee the necessary safe operation.
Please disconnect the mains plug if you do not intend to use the machine for a long period of time.
Only authorised service technicians may perform repairs on the machine
Repair work not carried out properly can impair the safety and protective functions (including electro-
magnetic behaviour) of the F4 basic Milling Machine, which may be hazardous to the health or damage
the machine.
