5 Care and Maintenance
5.1 Positions for Maintenance
The F4 basic Milling Machine requires no maintenance. Only DeguDent GmbH staff or a workshop
authorised by DeguDent GmbH may carry out repairs to the F4 basic.
5.2 Care
The F4 basic Milling machine can be cleaned with a soft cloth or by the use of solvents. Please do not
air-abrade the machine, as this may damage it.
5.3 Replacing the Safety Fuse
Disconnect the mains plug!
The safety fuse is on the right-hand side of the device, next to the main switch 26 (fig 2). If the fuse
is shutting off several times, this indicates a defect that must be repaired by an authorised service
technician.
5.4 Overload Shutdown
Blocking the spindle during operation triggers an overload shutdown (the clockwise and anticlockwise
LEDs flash alternately, and the spindle LED also flashes). To eliminate this operation mode, the milling
machine is switched off and on again at the main switch 26 (fig 2).
