Keeping the appliance clean and orderly ensures the best quality of the
products and longer service life of the appliance itself. Any replacement parts
must always be original spare parts.
Any cleaning or maintenance operations must only be performed after
unplugging the appliance and waiting for it to cool. Operations must be carried
out by persons with knowledge of, and practical experience with the appliance.
Clean the appliance completely at least once a week. Clean the external, coffee-stained
surfaces at the end of each working day.
Never wash with jets of water and never immerse the appliance.
Do not use abrasive cloths, sponges, or detergents on the bodies to avoid rubbing or
scratching them. Use a brush to clean the hard-to-reach places and a dry cloth for the other
surfaces.
Hopper: once removed, it can be washed with warm water and a neutral soap, then carefully
rinsed and dried. Before removing the hopper, remember to remove the tab and switch the
coffee grinder on so as to empty the grinder holder of any residual beans. Regularly check for
any deposits inside the dispenser;
if they need to be removed, remember to disconnect the appliance from the mains.
Body and dish: use a cloth moistened with water or alcohol. Dry using a dry cloth.
Grinding system: thoroughly clean the grinders and the entire grinding system using a dry
brush and cloth. The grinders are a part subject to normal wear. Their efficacy is important
to guarantee the quality of the grind in terms of both the grain size and output temperature
of the ground product, parameters that can significantly influence the quality of an espresso
coffee.
