GENERAL INFORMATION
This kit has been designed for replacing the A4 Quattro rear axle and is suitable for the models A4 B5
(96-01), S4 B5 (00-02), A4 B6 (02-04) and A4 B7 (05-08).
SAFETY INFORMATION

Always use the lifting points recommended by the manufacturer when lifting the vehicle.
x
Always make sure for adequate support provided by axle stands or ramps before you start
working under a car. Chock the wheels and make sure that the hand brake is firmly applied.
x
Always use safety goggles, especially when working under vehicles.
x
Make sure that the tool is correctly mounted.
x
Do not over-tighten the spindle or use undue force as this can damage both tool and component.
x
Do not use an impact wrench as it can damage the spindle.
x
Always use a workshop manual for detailed instructions.
x
Lubricate the threads of the spindle and the ejector pins before using the tool.
x
Check and, if necessary, replace any damaged components.
