The EasyLED series illumination system is intended for use in industrial and
laboratory applications
. The system is used to illuminate objects in stereo-

microscopy. The Transmitted Light Stage is designed to operate in a microscope
stand. Optional adapter rings can be used, various sizes available. Only using
SCHOTT accessories will guarantee proper function, safety and optimum
light output.
Please read and follow these instructions carefully. Ensure that every operator
of the device has quick access to these operating instructions.
The instrument's safety cannot be guaranteed if the instructions are not
followed. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by non-
observance of these operating instructions.
•
Operate the lighting system only in dry rooms and not in areas subject
to explosive hazards.
•
Operate the lighting system only with the voltage specified on the
information label.
•
Never look directly into the light emission aperture of the lighting system
during operation (risk of eye injury)! According to the EN 62471:2008
standard, the LED lights of the EasyLED series are products of risk class 0
(Transmitted Light Stage) or risk class 1 – low risk (Ring Lights/Spot Lights).
•
Never cover the lighting system when system is turned on (fire hazard).
•
Never cover the light exit opening of the illumination system with your
hand or other parts of your body.
