2. Operation Ring Lights

Attach the Ring Light to the objective of the microscope using the two
clamping screws so that the green indicator light faces the user. The inner
diameter of the Ring Light is 66 mm. Appropriate adapter for other diameters
are available for connection to objectives.
Insert the hollow plug of the enclosed power supply unit into the connection
socket of the Ring Light provided for this purpose. Make sure that your Ring
Light is only operated in the specified voltage range and with the enclosed
power supply unit.
You can switch the Ring Light on and off by pressing the main switch. If the
device is switched on, the green control lamp lights up. Set the desired
brightness on the electronic light intensity control. To disconnect the power
supply, pull out the mains plug.
The EasyLED Ring Light Plus can be controlled segment by segment.
When the segment setting is matched to the object being viewed, object
contrast can be achieved that far exceeds the contrast when illuminated
with a non-segmented ring light.
The different segment modes are set by pushing the electronic jog dial.
Repeated pushing of the jog dial changes the segment mode of the LED unit.
„Full circle -> semicircle -> quarter circle -> double quarter circle -> full circle".
The Ring Light starts in full-circle mode after each switch-off.
