(12) THE "B" (BULB) SETTING
On the "B" setting the shutter remains open while the
shutter release button is depressed and closes when
the shutter release button is released. Use the "B"
setting to take a night scene etc. It is advisable to use
a tripod and cable release when using this setting.

(13) TAKING PHOTOGRAPHS WITH THE SELF-TIMER
1. With the self-timer switched on the moment the shutter
release button is pressed the timer comes into operation.
This indicated by the red light on the front of the camera
beginning to flash also by an emitting electronic tone.
The self-timer will delay the shutter release by approximately
10 seconds.
2. If you want to cancel the self-timer after having pressed
the shutter release button, return the self-timer lever to its
original position.
3. After taking your picture return the self-timer lever to its
original position.
If you do not return the self-timer lever to its original position the self-timer will still be in
operation the next time you take a picture.
