(14) FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY'
When using the Cosina Auto 160 and Auto
220 flash which is designed exclusively for
the Cosina CT-10/20, you can take a picture
with the selector dial in the auto position.
When the flash units is fully charged, the red
"F" in the viewfinder lights and the shutter
speed is automatically set to 1/100 sec.
When using any other make flash guns set
the selector dial to the "X" position.
On Cosina CT-20 an emitting electronic tone
can be made by pressing the shutter release
button half-way down.
NOTE: The aperture ring should be set
according to the instructions on the flash gun
being used.
(15) EXPOSURE COMPENSATION (COSINA CT-20)
Automatic Exposure Compensation by shooting Against
the Backlight
When you photograph a person standing in a room
with a brightly lit window at his back, the subject will be
underexposed. In case of such shooting against the
backlight, press the shutter button while depressing
the exposure compensation switch. You can properly
expose the main subject.
