(3) SELECTOR DIAL
AUTO - When taking a picture with the selector dial on''AUTO"
your photographs will automatically be exposed correctly.
X - On this setting correct synchronisation with electronic
flash guns is obtained The camera operates at 1 /100th sec.
For correct exposure, set the aperture according to the
instructions on your flash gun.
B - On this setting the shutter remains open for as lo.ng as
the shutter release button is depressed. This enables you to
make exposures of over 4 seconds. It is advisable to use a
tripod and locking cable release to avoid camera shake.
Use this feature when lighting conditions are poor eg. night
scenes, firework displays etc.
OFF - When not in use set the selector dial to the OFF position. When the selector dial is
in the OFF position it is impossible to release the shutter even if the shutter release button
is accidentally depressed.
(4) LOADING THE FILM
The Cosina CT-10/CT-20 will take colour and black & white
film in a standard 35mm cassette form.(J135 24 x 36mm).
1. Pull out the rewind-knob and then give it a little pull
against the resistance, the back will then open.
2. Put the cassette into the film chamber, as indicated in the
photograph, and press down the rewind shaft to the original
position.
3. Insert the film-leader into one of the slots on the take-up
spool.
